    1. Usually, links to the research are located at the end of the article. In this case, the links are at the beginning, above the video. This is because the video is based on newer research that does, indeed, re-dig old holes.

      Before 2000, research was done indicating a connection between Alzheimer's and aluminum, which was subsequently disproved, and there the matter stood for many years.

      After 2000, new research discovered different associations. You can read the most famous of those papers at the links above the video.

      The holes may be old, and they may have looked empty. Notwithstanding, new technology has often proven an old oil well to not necessarily be an empty one. So too, an old research hole is often worth re-visiting as technology advances.
